Sachet Filling Machine

Product Feeding: First, the product to be packaged is loaded into the machine. This could be anything from coffee to shampoo or even medication. The product is often held in a large hopper situated at the top of the machine, ready to be dispensed.

Sachet Formation: Simultaneously, a roll of packaging material unfurls and is guided through the machine. This material is commonly a composite film, which is chosen based on the product’s packaging requirements. The film is folded and sealed longitudinally to create a tube using heat or ultrasonic methods, resulting in the formation of a sachet.

Filling: The product from the hopper is then dispensed into the newly formed sachet. Various filling mechanisms may be employed depending on the nature of the product, such as volumetric cup fillers for granules, auger fillers for powders, or pump fillers for liquids (source, source).

Sealing and Cutting: Once filled, the sachet is sealed on the top, creating an airtight package. After sealing, the sachet is cut from the continuous film, usually by a heat cutter or a blade.

Ejection and Collection: The final sachet is then ejected from the machine, where it’s collected and ready for dispatch.
